With all of the content I have on my bookcase (shelves and shelves of DVDs) it seemed a good idea to start sharing some of my favourites and unfavourites! After all, part of the reason I started this site was to share some television and movie reviews with everyone. I have titles from Battlestar Gallactica (original and remake!) through to Zombieland so get ready for some awesome reviews!
What’s Coming Up?
The first few reviews will stay in line with the “Off the Shelf” concept and will be randomly selected from my shelves of DVDs. This is no problem at all as I have definitely watched them all. So why the hell should you care about some old reviews when there are so many new films coming out? Well, if you are anything like me then you will find that most new movies are awful and you can find a lot more on DVD and Bluray.
Save Money With Classics
I am also looking to save you money with classic titles and even today I picked up Orgazmo for just six bucks and that is classic! If you know what you like and what you are looking for you can build up a decent movie collection these days for a very low price. Yes, many of the cheap DVDs are crap, but you will also find top sellers that have just aged a little bit but are still great to watch. I even picked up the original series of Farscape for about $15 the other week as well.
