The Big Lebowski is one of my all time favourite movies and has one of the best storylines of any movie as well as an amazing cast. Jeff Bridges is great as The Dude who unfortunately shares a last name with a rich guy whose young wife seems to be ringing up debt all over town.
When debt collectors come to the Dude’s house and steal his rug he goes on a wild journey with the help of his vietnam vet friend played by John Goodman. This is a very psychedelic movie and is filmed well and produced even better!
Stand out performances from Steve Buscemi and John Tutorro make this a classic movie of the modern era. Even thouygh thios has more of a cult status it is better than many so called modern classic movies.The Coen Brothers have outdone themselves with this movie!
Rating: Clean but worn out! You will need a few copies of this DVD as you will watch it tooooooo much!
